The Iron Valley golf course opened in 2000. The par-72 course was designed by P.B.Dye.
Five tee options stretch from almost 5,000 to nearly 7,100 yards, making Iron Valley a course to challenge your skills. Each landscape is distinct with the more traditional front Mine Nine Holes and the more challenging links style back Tailing Nine Holes.
Iron Valley plays to a maximum of 7,026 yards for a course rating of 74.9 and a slope rating of 138.
Black Tees: 7026 yards, course rating 74.9, slope rating 138.
Blue Tees: 6452 yards, course rating 72.3, slope rating 133.
White Tees: 6028 yards, course rating 69.5, slope rating 130.
Gold Tees: 5214 yards, course rating 65.0, slope rating 112.
Red Tees: 4905 yards, course rating 69.2, slope rating 123.

The first time I played this course, when driving home, I could remember every single hole. How many courses can you say that about? I signed up for their e-mails and they offered a special 4-some for $100 in June! Tees and fairways were great, and the greens were perfect. I've played courses all over Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, as well as Myrtle Beach, SC. Iron Valley is one of the top ten courses I've ever played.
